bai drinks campaign - laser cut art - orange segment art piece - no basis in reality

I recently completed a collaboration for a nationwide Bai Drinks campaign. It was my first time to work on a campaign like this and I absolutely loved it! The brief required the creation of two images and a video promoting their new drink flavors and flavored bubbly waters. For the video, I decided to create a work of art inspired by the drink and flavor. I was given a Jamaican Blood Orange bubbly water to work with, so I abstracted the orange segments to come up with this large laser cut wall piece. I hope you enjoy what I created for this campaign!

Here is me with the completed art piece! I love how it turned out. It’s the largest piece I’ve created with the laser. Initially, it was difficult to figure out how to piece it together because my laser bed is only 1’x2′. I think it was fairly successful, but I already see places for improvement in my next iteration.

This image had less to do with what I was actually working on, but it was a nice graphic image with the Bai Drink nonetheless.
