BLUSH SUEDE JACKET IN THE SNOW
We had a MEGA snow storm here in Flagstaff last week. I mean, MEGA. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. The snow just kept dumping out of the sky and there was no end in sight. I think the end total was about one foot a day for three days. It was beautiful! And soooo exciting. Snow is not something I’ve experienced outside of the random ski trip growing up, so this was a pleasant treat!
As a good Texan, I had already been to the grocery store to stock up in case we weren’t able to leave the house, which will sound silly to people who live in cold climates! I’m glad we were prepared, though, because we couldn’t get our truck out of the driveway for days after the snow stopped. I still get it stuck in the snow every time I leave or arrive home, so I’m just walking everywhere.
While the snow was abundant last week, I went out to capture some shots in the fresh snow. It was a chilly photoshoot, but we captured some moments that we don’t get to experience the rest of the year!
Jeans / Paige Denim / My favorite pair ever!
Crossbody bag / N’Damus London / The saddle bag is effortless. The leather construction is absolutely gorgeous!
Sunglasses / Spitfire / It’s hard to choose just one pair of sunglasses from the brand Spitfire, but I like these for everyday.
I love this blush colored suede jacket from Wyldr. It is sooooo soft and cozy feeling. The lining is as soft as the shell (which isn’t real suede, but looks really nice). It’s a cropped fit, so I like to wear it with high waisted jeans, like this pair from Paige. The graphite print top is from the brand Generation Love. It’s sold out online, but I’ve linked to two other Generation Love tops above that are similar.
Alright, you know the drill… I paired these with my black booties. They’re peep-toe so my toes were frozen! I’ve linked to a few styles I love below that would look great with everything. A good pair of black booties and perfectly fitting black jeans are pretty much all I need to survive. If I was on a desert island…
These earrings are a pair that my boyfriend designed! I love when he creates designs for our jewelry collections because he has such a unique eye. Being a guy, he doesn’t have a ton of experience with the typical styles of jewelry that women wear, so he really pushes the boundaries when he’s creating things!
Even though I’m standing in several feet of snow, the blush color of this jacket has me feeling all ready for Spring! What’s your favorite Spring color?
